Five night food & wine tour through the famous Bordeaux vineyard regions

May 16th 2021 – May 20th 2021 –  Five nights

During this tour we discover the main Bordeaux appellations: Medoc, Margaux, Pauillac, Saint Emilion, Pessac Léognan and Sauternes wine regions. Each of Chateau’s visited are all very different, giving you the opportunity to taste many varieties of fine wines based on the soils and individual wine making process.


Sunday May 16th: Bordeaux

This afternoon we check into our Bordeaux Hotel. This evening we will have a meet and greet over a glass of wine, to get to know each other before we depart the next morning. (drinks included) dinner at own expense


Monday May 17th: Medoc

Today we visit & taste wines in some of the different appellations of the Medoc, such as Margaux & Pauillac. We will be driving along the Route des Chateaux or Road of Castles. The Medoc wines are mostly blended with Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot.

  • 10:30 am Welcome and pick after breakfast from accommodation

  • Lunch in a gourmet restaurant (lunch included)

  • Visit & wine tasting in a Medoc Chateau vineyard

  • Visit & wine tasting in a Léognan Chateau vineyard

  • Overnight at nominated Bordeaux Hotel (dinner at own expense)


Tuesday May 18th: Graves & Sauternes

The Graves region produces red & white wines. Reds are powerful and full-bodied, the dry whites elegant and delicate, the sweet whites are sweet and desirable. The soil of this region offers wine lovers a choice of harmonious wines.

  • 10:30am pick up after breakfast

  • Visit & wine tasting session in a Graves Chateau vineyard

  • Lunch in a gourmet restaurant (lunch included)

  • Visit & wine tasting at Sauternes Chateau vineyard

  • Overnight at Boutique Bordeaux Accommodation (dinner at own expense)


Wednesday May 19th: Blaye, Cotes de Bordeaux

Blaye is located on the right bank of the Gironde belonging to Blaye & Bourg wine area of Bordeaux. After the coming together of several wine appellations, Blaye wines are now known as wines of the Cotes de Bordeaux region. Blaye reds are made predominantly from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, while the whites are produced from Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle.

  • 10:30am Pick up after breakfast

  • Visit village market town with free time

  • (Lunch included)

  • Visit & wine tasting in a Bordeaux Supérieur Vineyard

  • Visit & tasting in a multiple appellation Vineyard

  • Overnight at bordeaux boutique accommodation (dinner at own expense)


Thursday May 20th: St Emilion

Saint-Emilion is one of the oldest wine areas of the Bordeaux region. The medieval village, the vineyards and the landscape are listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Pomerol & St Emilion wines are mostly blended with Merlot.

  • 10:30am pick up from accommodation

  • Visit the village of St Emilion free time to explore this medieval village

  • Lunch in Saint Emilion (Lunch at own expense)

  • Visit & wine tasting in a St Emilion / Pressac

  • Return to Boutique Bordeaux Accommodation with overnight stay.

  • End of tour (dinner included)

  • End of our services

Bordeaux Boutique Accommodation

Situated in the commercial and historical centre of Bordeaux, the Hotel is situated near the Grand Theatre. This charming hotel offers air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own specific décor and Wi-Fi.

Price per person based on double occupancy is $2750.00

Package includes:

5 nights accommodation including breakfast.  3 lunches and 1 dinner, 4 days transportation in exclusive private minibus with english speaking driver. Visits & tasting fees, Wifi access at Accommodation, taxes.
